The Idea:-

Whenever you think of cars made famous by movies, several cars come to mind….Eleanor from the film “Gone in 60 Seconds”, The ford Mustang from “Bullitt”, the 57 Plymouth fury from “Christine”, and the cars from “Mad max”. People are drawn to these cars, and fascination has always surrounded them.

I have been wanting to build a modern day version of this classic car made famous from the 80’s, but could not find the right car and style-until Dodge created the new Charger. Although a 4 door in design, it would be easy to convert this body style into a 2 door,and then take it one step further-create a more modern and futuristic automobile by adding “gadgets” and devices that would be found on a car designed for use on the highways similar to the film.

As well as being fully loaded with all the usual refinements, this car is fully functional. The best equipment available will be used in the build,and when finished It will be driven to shows, as well as in and around southern California-sure to get attention wherever it goes.

Sleek and surrounded in the same awe and mystery as all of the other well known cars of the movies, this one of a kind car will be signed by Mel Gibson on its Drivers side door after completion. It will join the other Dodge charger interceptor seen below and both cars will be displayed together at all major car shows. There will also be many "How it was done" tech features in many major car magazines.
