                The Mad Max Interceptors…….

A very special project indeed...to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the ground breaking movie “Mad Max” two Dodge Chargers are being built as the modern day version of the two stars of the movie (apart from Mel Gibson) the two police interceptors, some still photos from the movie are pictured below. The “Mad Max” film series made Mel Gibson the star he is today, and there is a fan following for the movies as well as the cars themselves. Mel's first interceptor is the one painted in three striking colors...yellow, red and blue. The modern day version of this car is nearly finished, requiring only a month to finish .After wrecking his car in a car chase, he is introduced to the second interceptor-know as the “Black on black last of the V8’s” this is the black two door with the through-the-hood-supercharger. This 2 door Charger is in fabrication and will be completed mid-august. The first car will be featured in several Mopar magazines, and will be unveiled at the 2008 SEMA show in Las Vegas...the second car soon afterwards….date to be determined
